Happy April Fool's Day!
I have always been a fan of April Fool’s Day. When I was young, I had the privilege of spending quite a bit of time with my Poppop (maternal grandfather). He was indeed a jokester.
I always appreciated the laughter and joy we had when we were together.
One year he gave me one of those fake gum packages that snapped a person’s finger when they pulled out a piece of gum. My mother only let me take it to school on April Fool’s Day.
I had it for years and got a lot of mileage out of it. It didn’t really hurt, just surprised the unknowing recipient.
I don’t mind harmless jokes, but I do mind harmful pranks or uncomfortable surprises. Here at the Inn we like laughter and fun. We don’t want guests to experience unwanted surprises.
Clean rooms, comfortable clean beds, delicious food and fun interactions are what we offer and strive for.
Aimed at comfort with only delightful surprises! That’s what you will find at the Inn.
Especially now, during this difficult season we find ourselves in, we wish you safety, good health and no unwelcome surprises.
Hopefully we will be open again soon (closed through April 2020) and instead of April Fool’s Day, it will be “Customer Appreciation Day” all summer long!
I will keep you informed should I hear anything about theater season. Truly, Penny
